The accused shooter in the Colorado Springs attack

Unfortunately, there have been many attacks around the country and no one can ever be prepared. The recent Colorado Springs attack shocked the world and especially those living in Colorado Springs. Law enforcement agencies involved in the investigations have not identified a motive behind the attack at this time. The accused shooter, Robert Lewis Dear Jr., could be looking at the death penalty. He will be appearing in court to enter a plea. There are sure to be many questions about his actions and why he chose to do what he did. He had fired his weapon in the parking lot before entering the Planned Parenthood facility where he opened fire again.

Legal questions have been on the rise and there were members of the community and others who were injured and even died because of his shooting spree. Multiple people were injured including law enforcement. Everyone wants to know who will be prosecuting and what will be the charges and will he be sentenced?

Only time can tell and hopefully, as with all other tragedies, the community can stick together and heal in time as well.
